About Memley Aviation
Our History... Back in 1960, a 14-year old boy named Alan Memley fell in love... with FLYING! He had the good fortune to have a father who supported him in his endeavors.
Young Alan began flight lessons at the Hawthorne Airport (HHR) in Southern California. He went on to obtain his Private license - instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and flight instructor ratings before his 19th birthday.
After a few years at United Airlines and then as a free-lance instructor at John Wayne Airport (SNA), Alan moved to the Fresno area and started a flight school at the Selma Airport (0Q4). A few years and many students later, Memley Aviation moved a short hop to its present location at Fresno Downtown Executive - we call it Chandler (FCH). And the rest, they say, is history!
