Leftover funds due to early completion can be used for aircraft rental and pilot supplies. This package is designed to provide you with the needed flight time to become a FAA-certified Instrument Pilot. The minimum instrument flight time that is required an instrument flight test is 40 hours. However, this package offers 55 hours of dual instruction from a licensed instrument flight instructor (40 hours in the aircraft, and 10 hours of ground instruction). And all of the books and materials needed to complete the Instrument Pilot course.
