Frequenty Asked Questions About Charter

Q: How quickly can I reach my destination?

We can tailor your charter flight to meet your needs. For example, a flight to Phoenix, originating in the Central Valley of California, will arrive in Phoenix in one and a half hours. San Diego from Fresno is just an hour away! Reno is a mere 40 minutes. We routinely fly to their locations in the West to pick up our passengers. Q: How far ahead of departure time should I reserve a flight?

Depending on availability, you can schedule your flight up to within a half hour of departure. Naturally, we like to prepare a day or two ahead so we can better tailor your flight to your needs and desires.

Q: Does Memley Aviation, Inc. use only one pilot, or can we expect two pilots?

You can expect to have two pilots on your charter flight. Memley Aviation, Inc. uses two pilots on each flight, just like the airlines, for your safety!

Q: What about having the plane and pilot wait for me at the destination?

It is quite normal to have the pilot and plane wait for you to complete your business at your destination. We charge a nominal fee ($60/hour) to have the pilots wait. However, keep in mind that Federal Regulations limit the duty day for pilots to 14 hours. You must complete your trip within that time limit otherwise an overnight stay is mandatory. Overnight charge is $400 for the pilots. Other Federal Regulations may apply for flight time limits. Flights that originate late in the day may require an overnight stay.
